Last week, Sara Jackson-Holman premiered ‘Too Late’ from her upcoming orchestral pop album, Didn’t Go To The Party, set to release via Expunged Records on September 16. ‘Too Late’ is a stripped-down, encouraging acceptance of solitude following the scorn of heartbreak. The bittersweet, cathartic track opens with slow methodical keys from the classically-trained pianist as her delicate voice carries the listener into tranquility with an assertive reminder that “it’s too late to work it out.” Jackson-Holman projects a bold confidence with a voice evocative of Adele’s sophistication and Ingrid Michaelson’s sweet elegance. While ‘Too Late’ speaks of pain and doubt, there is no questioning Jackson-Holman’s harmonious allure. Check out the introspective track below.
